Our History
Galveston Bay Contractors, (formerly Schattel Construction) was originally founded in 1998 by Richard Schattel Jr. Since the beginning, G.B.C. has always called Galveston Bay home. As a third generation BOI, Galveston Bay will always be home. We have grown from your small handyman construction services to expanding our trades to include General Construction, Land Management, Demolition and Debris Removal, Tree Removal & Stump Grinding, Ponds, Concrete Driveways & Home Pads, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, and many other services.
